I have one of those original Xbox machines. It's been having trouble reading games on DVD discs. When a new scene needs to be loaded, it will complain "cannot read disc - it may be dirty or damaged" or something like that.
So, I thought the DVD drive was the problem. I bought a new DVD drive and installed it. Still, the same problem occurs for games on DVD.
Any ideas?
I'll open it up and see if the fans are working. Maybe it's a cooling issue. It bugs me! We have lots of family games we'd like to play.
