My cat likes the carpet on my Hartke bass amp as well. She is a little more interested in shredding it with her claws though.

My cat either likes to climb on top of my amp, as there's a better chance he'll be petted by me, or tries to rub his jaw along the headstock to get the guitar to pet him.
 
Jack's more of a back of the sofa cat. He stays away from those noisy guitars.

Did you get sick of being tied to specific equipment or do you just have too much of it now? :D

It changes depending on taste/sound required. One day I'll finish programming a multi fx and can say I use that all the time. In fact I'm downsizing my gear, getting rid of the stuff that doesn't work for me or doesn't get used.

I can relate. I'm running pretty lean right now, but I'd like to be even leaner.
