how do you embed pics?

how do you embed pics into your posts like has been done in the first post here:

Go to top of screen, click on "VB Image Host".
Click on "Upload an image".
Hit "Browse".........choose the image you want from your computer, make sure it is the allowed file type and size.
Click "Host it".
When you view it in "my images" be sure and set it to "public" or it won't be seen be anyone but you.
When you make a post, click "My Photos" in the lower RH corner, choose your pick, click, and it will be added to the post. (I think I remembered everything). Try it and see.

Sure it does:

Use this format, but with the straight brackets ( [ and ] ) instead of the curly ones shown:

Another way is that after you've uploaded an image, find it in your list of hosted images and then copy the code text that appears in the "BB Code IMG" box. Then just paste that into your post, like I'm doing here:

If you are wanting to put up photos on the forum then I suggest you get a free account at www.photobucket.com. You upload your photos to photobucket - copy and paste the link into the window that pops up when you open the little yellow mountain icon in the "submit reply" window.

What you are doing is hosting photos off the forum so it doesn't take up server space. All the photos will be linked to instead of being stored on thefret server. You can also link to photos elsewhere on the web other than your photobucket or similar account.
