Yes I do. It is my first Wilco album, and it is clicking with me right now. Krashteban, I love your Rancid choice too. I am going to have to break my Rancid disc out. I have only ". . . and Out Come the Wolves." :rockon
I hate to be one of those their-earlier-work-was-better people, but I like the Being There era best out of all of the Wilco stuff. Maybe I'll spend some more quality time with that latest release.

"Out Come the Wolves" is probably their best, I have almost all if not all their albums.

Currently this new one, "Let The Dominoes Fall," is in a dead heat with "Indestructible" for second place to "...Wolves," though. Those guys make some great anthemic rock, and to me really pick up where the Clash left off. I also love how they reclaim being patriotic from the Far Right as well, there's a great song about that on Dominoes called "Disconnected," but I won't go any further into politics here. Google Rancid Disconnected for lyrics or a youtube.

Blind Willie Johnson

:applause

my favourite of the old-school blues players

his "dark was the night, cold was the ground" is one of the most hauntingly beautiful pieces of music ever (and marc ribot does a fine cover of it)

Been listening to a lot of Narnia's newest album, Course of a Generation. Fantastic Christian metal.

Also, I've been gaining a real interest in Devin Townsend lately. Very talented guy.

Listened to this one last night and this morning in the car. It's been awhile. It's a nice Yngwie sampler. "Heaven Tonight" is still as lamentable as ever, but still . . .

This morning it was "Pocket Symphony" by Air. I'm going to see them next week.

Right now, since I'm at work, I'm listening to "Prowler in the Yard" by Pig Destroyer. I won't post the cover art because it might be disturbing.

An album you will really like or really hate--guess which category I fall into?

Here are a couple bands I'm listening to, that I found on myspace as a result of friend requests.

First, some garage/power pop from the Midwest. Read these guys likes/influences list, live by it:

Here's something more experimental, indie/postpunk from right here in Gainesville. Reminds me of early Television and Talking Heads, but the singer sounds a bit like Mick Jagger/David Johanssen:

Skip the song "Balls & Walls," though. It's basically a strafing run of F-bombs.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)

Geez, I don't think I could even name that many bands.
