Glad you guys liked it. A few bogeys to avoid here and there on parts of the run, but the hill is skiing very nicely on the groomed runs where the snow making is. That is funny about the penguins. I was thinking also of a kind of "pole position" effect. Tig, just make a goal to get back out there! You'll have fun!

Although I don't really miss my old Acme Rocket skis (K2 5500's + Cascade Concrete).

Funny, the playback speed on my slow machine reminded me of the Linux game Extreme Tux Racer, where the Linux mascot penguin races to collect herrings on the track...!

I've played that game a bit -- funny comparison.

I've bought myself a few cool t-shirts at the Salvation Army for 99 cents over the past month or so, and a baseball cap for a defunct local music store/venue for 89 cents there too. I guess those were my Christmas gift to myself. Oh, and after Christmas I bought an actual new shirt at TJ Maxx. Ralph Lauren of all things, iirc.

We're broke.

Both sets of parents gave us checks.
