Vox ac15

Anybody familiar with the AC15 tube amp. I have one on layaway and before I get it out I would like to know if it is a good amp. It's new buy the way.

There are several versions of the AC15, from the relatively inexpensive Chinese-made models to the hand-wired UK made versions. The bottom line is always, do you like the way it sounds, and does it have the tone or tones you're looking for? If you like the way it sounds, who cares what anyone else thinks? I have a Chinese-made Vox Night Train, and I love it. It's a fantastic little amp, and since I bought it as a B-stock, it was very affordable as well.

I remember liking one in the local store a few years ago. Sorry, I can't tell you much else. I would think the smaller 15 would be great for home use if you like the sound.

I love the Vox AC15. Even the Chinese made model is great. Also, don't be put off by 15 watts. That's plenty of volume for gigging.
