What tuner do you use?

Since no one has posted this one yet, I figure I might as well . . .

I have a rack strobe unit and an old sabine 1000<?>.
for setting up guitars I really like the strobe, it's extreemly accurate.
and I clutch the neck when I play so I can use it to set up the guitar better for my ham fist style of playing.

I probably need to invest in a pedal tuner.

That Peterson VS-1 looks pretty good, but here's what I use,

Its also a strobe tuner made by Sonic Research, the Turbo Tuner. They also make this in a stomp box type. I now have a closet full of miscellaneous tuners, (Note to self: Sell junk tuners on ebay!) that never get used. This one is the ****!

The humble Fender sparkly tuners are amazingly good, very reliable with almost zero needle "jiggling". You can get one for around $20.

I have a Behringer TU100 chromatic tuner that works great and was very inexpensive. So I guess you'd say I bought it because it's CHEAP, and so am I!

They've replaced this model now with the new TU300, but it's pretty much the same thing. And while the casing is plastic, it's still very durable:

They've replaced this model now with the new TU300, but it's pretty much the same thing. And while the casing is plastic, it's still very durable:

I have the same one and it works pretty well, though not like a nice strobe tuner. Mine can be a bit noisy once in a while. I am wondering if some work on the input/output ports could help. It seems to relate to if there is any movement when I activate it.

You just reminded me that I had Behringer tuner pedal in the closet still in it's box (bought a bunch of Behringers at a sale). I thought it would be a TU100 because I've had it for awhile but I was surprised to find it's a TU300. I'll have to give it a go now.

I have a Strobostomp (version 2) that I love. I really like the display & the accuracy. The ST-200 from Sonic Research is cheaper, smaller, & supposedly more accurate than the Strobostomp.

A key point about strobe tuners is that they are really useful for setting intonation.
