Cool iOS app called iQuikDoF. There's a freebie and paid version. Love the effects you can get with it.
Awesome film huh. Did u know that the Kiwi girl who plays a stunt woman, Zoe Bell, is actually playing herself? She was Xena's stunt double, and then went on to be Uma's stunt double in Kill Bill. I love how Tarentino does stuff like that.
Back on topic though, there's another really cool effect you can try using "fake" DOF (Bokeh) Mostly this technique is called fake tilt-shift but I just prefer to call it fake miniaturisation because, well, that's what it looks like.

Basically all you do is leave the middle of the image as is and add blur in a linear fashion out from the centre. Then bump the contrast and colour to make things look "toy like" and away ya go. This only works on certain types of image composition though and there's a fair amount of trial and error involved but the results can look pretty cool.
