Nice, Big K. I like that p/g! Three toggles and no top-hat, huh? How was it wired?

Gotta get a picture of my new Nashville Tele in here, too:

front 2 mini's in the slot where the 3way used to be were wired to turn off each pickup individually and the mini between the volumne & tone was a coil cut/tap for the bucker... the shell pickguard was from Warmoth... ya thanks for posting another pic of that Nashville...it has me gassin' for another Tele already..

On the left my Squier 'Micawber'..........5 strings, tuned to 'G' and fitted with a Seth Lover H/B. On the right my 52ri fitted with a Lollar Imperial by Keefs guitar tech..............

Who is this "Fingers"? theFret certainly attracts a fine caliber of axe-men it would seem.

Beauty teles BTW... I luv the idea of a neck mounted 'bucker on a tele. I have some OT $$ coming my way soon and just got the OK to start looking for an honest-to-goodness tele (I love my wife :)). I think I'm in line for the "AND THAT'S GONNA BE IT FOR AWHILE" lecture  :p

Aw, c'mon! It's CHEAP!! Hardly more than a week's beer money! ;)

Actually, I got a guy at work who is looking at it tomorrow. Fiddle player in a bluegrass band, but he always wanted a gee-tar. If that doesn't pan out, up it goes on eBay....

This is my walnut stain Squier Standard Tele...only mods are strap locks and nickle plated brass saddles(vintage Strat):
normal_Tele.jpg

So you see...I just HAD to have this walnut stain HSS Strat:

"Betty"(telecaster) & "Wilma"(strat)

Ive been considering sanding the "Squier Telecaster" off the headstock...mostly to emulate the "Brown Bomber" which has no markings on its headstock either...any opinions???

Lol... you could sit there on the porch and drink moonshine... play a little blues on your Reso. Blind Spearmint Warren could be your own blues name.

You really have to quit drinking that moonshine Warren...

Could I talk you into modding my posts to where the images work? This issue aint on my end:confused:

Thanks for the help with the pics.

It's time to show off my new Tele:

Specs:

  • Two-piece swamp ash body by Goeldo, Butterscotch
  • SMNT-FAT Allparts neck (nitro tinted)
  • Bill Lawrence Keystone pickups (no string tree)
  • Gotoh Vintage Staggered tuners
  • Allparts vintage bridge with compensated saddles
  • 1-ply pickguard, CTS electrics, Electrosocket
  • Tusq nut

In the words of my technician, who put it together, "one of the best Teles I have ever played!". And he is a notoriously difficult to please fellow!

What can I say, the honeymoon isn't over yet, but this thing plays, feels and sounds so beautiful it almost brings tears in my eyes!

(sorry about the clarity of the photos...)

Any opinions on removing the headstock badges? Should I or not?
